What you need to know.
No — all prices shown are exclusive of VAT. VAT at the current rate will be added to invoices where applicable.
Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance. Project work is invoiced at the point of agreement before work begins. Ad-hoc support requires the first hour to be paid upfront before we start. Recruitment packages are invoiced on agreement of scope.
Yes. Many clients combine a retainer with occasional project work where the scope falls outside their retainer. If you are on a retainer, ask us first — some project-type work may already be covered.
We accept bank transfer and card payment via our invoicing system. Payment details are included on all invoices.
Our published prices are our standard rates. We do not negotiate on retainer or ad-hoc pricing. For large or complex project scopes, final pricing is confirmed after a scoping conversation — the published ranges are honest guides, not opening positions.
Full access to Trident Command is included with every HR retainer at no additional cost. This includes the intelligent document library, workforce management tools, compliance dashboard and employment law intelligence layer. Standalone Command pricing will be published when the platform launches to independent subscribers.
We benchmark each headcount band against the realistic in-house HR resource a business of that size would actually need — ranging from a part-time HR Advisor at the smallest tiers, through a full-time HR Advisor or Manager, up to a small HR team for 150+ employees. Costs are fully-loaded (base salary plus employer NI, pension, holiday cover and equipment) using conservative UK regional salary benchmarks. Final figures are illustrative — your actual saving will depend on the role, location and benefits package you would otherwise hire for.
It is at the lower end of the market for qualified, experienced HR consultancy. Many generalist HR advisers charge £120–£175 per hour. Our rate reflects our belief that good HR advice should be accessible to businesses of all sizes — not just those with large HR budgets.
