Manual timesheets are estimates dressed up as records. Hours get rounded, breaks get forgotten, and by the time the week is signed off nobody's certain what was actually worked. A shift runs clock-in to clock-out, with typed breaks nested inside. When a break ends it resolves against your policy automatically — paid or unpaid, per person, per day, the basis the Working Time Regulations expect. Net hours are calculated once, server-side, so Command, the app and the manager's screen never disagree.

Flexi time and overtime
Each person's contracted pattern is set individually, so the system knows what normal is. Hours above it bank to a running flexi balance or total as overtime, with every movement written to an audit ledger.

Manager oversight and edit requests
