A shift runs clock-in to clock-out, with typed breaks nested inside. When a break ends it resolves against your policy automatically — paid or unpaid, per person, per day, the basis the Working Time Regulations expect. Net hours are calculated once, server-side, so Command, the app and the manager's screen never disagree.
