A decade of experience.
One clear vision.
Brendan McPherson founded Trident HR after a decade working in HR and operational management roles across both the private and public sector — spanning hospitality, service industries, public services and the civil service.
That breadth of experience — managing real people, navigating real employment situations and working within the constraints of real organisations — shaped both the consultancy and the platform. The frustrations were consistent: slow, clunky HR systems built without practitioners in mind; generic advice from providers who had never sat in the chair; tools with either too much or too little, and none of it joined up.
Trident HR — and Trident Command — are the answer to all of it. Built from the ground up with every frustration in mind, and every feature informed by what actually matters when you are managing a workforce.
HR done properly.
No exceptions.
Most HR support available to growing businesses is not good enough. Call centres staffed by generalists reading from scripts. Percentage-based recruitment fees that bear no relation to the work involved. Software built by developers who have never managed a team. Advice that covers the provider, not the employer.
Trident HR was built to be the alternative. Qualified HR consultants who stay actively involved in your cases. Transparent, fixed pricing with no lock-in. And a proprietary HR platform — Trident Command — designed by HR professionals who have spent years wishing something better existed.
The vision is straightforward: give every business access to the kind of HR support that was previously only available to the largest organisations — and make it genuinely excellent.
